I am a huge fan of JRPGs, and also of Compile Heart. They make good games, as well as good dialogue. They make them hilarious in a way they is comforting, and doesn’t (well, from up to the point I am in game, that is) cross into cringeworthy space.

Whoever wrote this has a beef with typical RPG dialogue. Not that I'm complaining!

Compile Heart: Love is money

Along with its own vestiges of wisdom.[/caption]

Gameplay is also not boring. Not exactly real-time, but it has its own pacing, with combo building and the weapons upgrading (somewhat similar to Chrono Cross).

Another plus: the Fairize system. And the transformation sequence is lovely (but calling this mode too many times is time-consuming for a grind, so good thing it is skip-able).

Too cute. And deadly. Heheh.
